how it all started

About Us

Steve Carter and his wife Kee decided to enter the catering industry during the 2020 lockdown, they were offering takeaway Thai food from their home to residents in Seaton. Towards the end, they were getting so many orders, they had to turn some away.

They decided to open the Taste of Thai Restaurant and took over the former Kathys Wild Caper in Fore Street.

Steve Carter said: “It was clear they would have to expand the business. And the cause of this ever-increasing popularity? Kee’s traditional Thai cooking which is tantalisingly tasty.
